Class: Savory Scones & Sweet Hand Pies

In this class, we'll walk you through how to use in-season, regional produce to make savory scones and sweet hand pies.
 
This class includes copies of our savory scone and sweet hand pie, frozen scone portions that you make and will take home to bake at your leisure, freshly baked sweet hand pies that you assembled, and a to-go treat bag.

Weekday classes are held from 6-8pm. Sunday classes are held from 12-2pm. All classes are in-person and held at Sister Pie (8066 Kercheval, Detroit 48214). Free street parking is available on both sides of Kercheval.
COVID-19 SAFETY Precautions:

If a guest is experiencing coronavirus or flu-like symptoms, we will kindly require that they stay home. Guests should let us know prior to their class that they are feeling ill, and we will be happy to provide them with a refund or work to reschedule in our next round of classes.

Additionally, by signing up for a class, guests acknowledge that their in-person class is subject to being changed to a virtual class if needed due to coronavirus restrictions or safety concerns. Should a class be changed to virtual, all participants will receive a partial refund to match the price of our virtual classes. Guests will be notified in advance should there be any changes.
Michigan weather can be unpredictable and change quickly. We do our best to take commuting students and staff into consideration with upcoming weather. When a Weather Watch has been issued for the region, we will still plan to hold a class but encourage you to factor in extra time to travel safely to the bakery, just in case. When a Weather Warning has been issued, we will contact all guests about rescheduling their class.
