CARING FOR YOUR PIE, PAVLOVA & CREAM PUFF RINGS

Below are some helpful hints to keeping your baked goods fresh for serving.

Please refer to our Pie Care + Storage page for more information.

How long do your pies keep? What's the best way to store them?

We think most of our pie pies taste best at room temperature. We recommend you keep them on a cool counter, out of direct heat. If you won't be serving your pies for a day or two, you can also keep them in the refrigerator (in the box is fine). We recommend letting them come up to room temperature before serving.

The Salted Maple is best stored at room temperature and eaten within 3 days of purchase. However, they can also be refrigerated for up to 1 week.

The Rhuby Thursday and Rhubarb Rosemary Streusel are best stored at room temperature and eaten within 2 days of purchase. However, they can also be refrigerated for up to 1 week.

The Mom's Mocha is a refrigerated pie and must be stored in the fridge. It is best eaten within 3 days of purchase.

Can I freeze my pie?

While we do recommend eating our pies fresh and within a few days of purchasing, many of our pies are suitable for freezing.

For proper freezing, tightly wrap the pie in plastic wrap twice. When you're ready to thaw, unwrap the pie and allow it to thaw completely at room temperature, on a cool counter (typically at least 24 hours). We recommend letting the pie come up to room temperature before serving.

Can my pie be reheated?

As a general rule, the The Rhuby Thursday, Salted Maple, and Mom's Mocha are not recommended for serving warm (they will melt in the oven and won't hold their shape).

To warm the Rhubarb Rosemary Streusel from the fridge or from room temperature, heat the oven to 300º F and warm for 20 minutes, checking the pie by placing your hand over the center to see if it is fully warmed (more time may be required).

Pavlova Care

Do not refrigerate the pavlova shell! Store it at room temp in the airtight container you received it in until you are ready to assemble and serve. The remaining ingredients should be refrigerated.

Once you’re ready to build and enjoy your pavlova, remove the ingredients from the fridge and start by dolloping the chilled cream on top of pavlova shell, followed by spooning on the chilled fruit topping, and finishing off with a drizzle of basil-infused olive oil to add balance, an extra depth of flavor, and a fun pop of color.

Refrigerate assembled leftovers and enjoy within 1-2 days.

Cream Puff Ring Care

Refrigerate until ready to serve and enjoy within 1-3 days. Alternatively, slices of the ring can be frozen to enjoy at a later date.
