Class: Baking Buddies: Cookie Fundamentals
In this class, each child and their adult chaperone will walk through some of our most fundamental tips and tricks for making the perfect cookies – from learning to perfectly cream butter and sugar in a mixer to piping the perfect icing swirl on a drop cookie. Each ticket includes entry for 1 child and 1 adult. This class is geared toward children 10 - 12 years old and adults of any age!
You’ll leave with three cookie recipes, a to-go treat bag, and an assorted box of the cookies you made in class.
Class Details
All classes are held in-person at Sister Pie (8066 Kercheval, Detroit 48214). Free street parking is available on both sides of Kercheval.
Cancellation Policy
For a full refund or reschedule, you must contact us at least 7 days in advance of your scheduled class. This allows us time to do the necessary outreach to find another eager pie-maker.
Weather Policy
We do our best to take commuting students and staff into consideration with upcoming weather, however Michigan weather can be unpredictable and change quickly. When a Weather Watch has been issued for the region, we will still plan to hold a class but encourage you to factor in extra time to travel safely to the bakery, just in case. When a Weather Warning has been issued, we will contact all guests about rescheduling their class.
