Class: Sweet & Savory Scones
Welcome to the scone zone! We’ll guide you through the process of making two batches of scones (one savory, one sweet!) using in-season Michigan-grown ingredients.
You’ll leave with a to-go treat bag, freshly baked scones to sample, plus a box of each of your prepared scones to store in the freezer at home for future baking. PDF copies of the recipes will be emailed to you the next day.
**Scone portions will be frozen during the class so we recommend bringing a cooler or cold bag in your car to keep the frozen scones chilled during your trip home**
Class Details
All classes are held in-person at Sister Pie (8066 Kercheval, Detroit 48214). Free street parking is available on both sides of Kercheval.
Cancellation Policy
For a full refund, you must contact us at least 7 days in advance of your scheduled class. This allows us time to do the necessary outreach to find another eager scone-maker.
Weather Policy
We do our best to take commuting students and staff into consideration with upcoming weather, however Michigan weather can be unpredictable and change quickly. When a Weather Watch has been issued for the region, we will still plan to hold a class but encourage you to factor in extra time to travel safely to the bakery, just in case. When a Weather Warning has been issued, we will contact all guests about rescheduling their class.
